The extension is designed to provide a custom browser start page with user-managed screens, groups, links, folders, search providers, appearance settings and optional favicon tools.

The website has its own Website Terms of Use, Website Privacy Policy and Website Legal Notice. The extension has separate extension legal documents. The website may display copies of the extension documents so users can read them before installing the extension.
4. Browser stores and distribution platforms
If Pinus Maximus is made available through Chrome Web Store, Mozilla Add-ons or another browser extension platform, that platform may show its own listing information, install flow, privacy disclosures, reviews, ratings and store policies.
Those platforms are independent from Pinus Maximus. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their store services.
5. Permissions and Firefox data consent summary
The extension may request browser permissions needed for its user-facing features. In the current release, required runtime permissions are kept minimal. Optional host permissions for specific websites may be requested only when you enable or use a favicon service that needs access to that service origin.
In Firefox builds that support Firefox's built-in data collection and data transmission consent system, the Firefox manifest declares data_collection_permissions.required: ["none"]. It may also declare optional searchTerms and browsingActivity categories for user-enabled search provider and third-party favicon features.

The Pinus Maximus name, extension-specific logos, icons, domains, poster images, documentation, user interface assets, original code and other project-specific materials are the intellectual creation and property of Keresztes Zsolt unless a different owner or licence is stated.
Third-party names, logos, favicons, icons, screenshots, service names and examples remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the extension or documentation does not imply partnership, endorsement, sponsorship or ownership.
